A Round on the Mayor

The Gold Coast's mayor made a promise: fix the beaches by April 2026, or he'd shout the whole city a beer.

April came and went. The beaches were a work in progress. The beer, it turned out, was suddenly very real.

Crafted Festival, who've spent ten years celebrating this city, decided a promise is a promise. All they needed was someone to put the liquid in the can. So they called us.

We said yes before they'd finished asking.

Here's the thing: we don't have a take on political promises, but we do have a take on beer. And ours was pretty straightforward - if the Gold Coast is owed a round, it should be a round worth drinking. A free beer is only as good as what's in the can, and we weren't about to let this city get handed something forgettable.

We've been brewing here for twenty years. Crafted's been throwing the party for ten. When the call came, it wasn't much of a decision.

So here it is - the beer the mayor owes you, brewed by the mob who've been here the whole time. We're proud of it, and we're proud of this city.

Crack one. We'll see you at the Festival!
