On September 21st, 2024, Burleigh Brewing celebrated its 18th birthday in style, welcoming over 500 guests to the Taphouse for a night filled with laughter, music, and of course, incredible beers. The evening was not just a celebration of our 18-year journey but also a toast to everyone who has been part of the Burleigh family, from our loyal fans to our hardworking team.
A Musical Vibe
Setting the tone for the evening, the incredibly talented Matthew Armitage took the stage, filling the air with his smooth tunes. His live performance provided the perfect backdrop as friends and fans gathered to enjoy a laid-back evening, chatting over beers and soaking in the celebratory vibes.
A Taste of Nostalgia: Our Re-Release Beers
One of the main highlights of the night was the return of five legendary beers from Burleigh Brewing’s archives. These special re-releases brought back some serious nostalgia and gave both new and longtime fans a chance to revisit iconic brews that helped shape our story. From the refreshing Duke Premium Lager to the bold and beloved Black Giraffe, each beer had a story to tell, and we were thrilled to share them once again.

- FIGJAM IPA – Delivering bold bitterness, balanced with vibrant mango, stone fruit, caramel malt, and a touch of mandarin
- Hef – Our iconic, fan-favourite hefeweizen, instantly recognized by the moustache on its label.
- My Wife’s Bitter – A nod to traditional British ales with a Burleigh twist.
- Black Giraffe – Bold, rich, and brewed with locally roasted coffee—Black Giraffe stands above the rest
- Duke Premium Lager – A crisp, malt-driven lager with a clean, refreshing finish, crafted in the classic European style.

In true Burleigh fashion, we marked the occasion with a beautifully crafted cake, shared among guests as we raised a glass to the next chapter in Burleigh Brewing's journey.
